After spending over two decades in both academic and business settings, from being a psychology professor and undergraduate coordinator at Wichita State University, to an organizational development consultant and community relations manager at Textron Aviation, to an external consultant facilitating strategic plans and creating leadership development and team building programs for both businesses and nonprofits, to an HR business leader at Cargill helping to build key capabilities, drive high-performing teams and culture, and strengthen the talent pipeline, Darcee believes individuals can always get better at who they are and what they do, and loves helping people connect, communicate and collaborate.

Darcee is a Gallup certified Strengths coach, has been a Wichita Business Journal “40 Under 40” honoree as well as a recipient of Wichita State University’s Excellence in Teaching Award.

Darcee enjoys volunteering in the community; she most recently served on the Music Theatre Wichita board for the past six years (having served one year as chair during her previous board service, as well as performing in four productions), and has sat on various boards within the community over the years, including Leadership Wichita (serving five years as chair), the Miss Kansas Organization and Scholarship Foundation, the Wichita Symphony Orchestra, Sedgwick County Developmental Disabilities Advisory Board, and Junior Achievement. She also enjoys reading and singing – and recently became lead singer in a local band!

Darcee holds a BS in psychology from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa, and MS and PhD degrees in general experimental psychology from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas.
