Completing a CMD Master Certificate in Project Management is the first step in moving towards taking the PMP® exam. CMD sessions will equip you with the terminology, tools and techniques from the PMI PMBOK® Guide.
The next step is to complete a PMP® Certification Prep Class. Prep Classes are taught by approved PMI vendors and can be found on the PMI website. Visit pmiwichita.org for details on the prep class dates and events.

The Center for Management Development’s Master Certificate in Project Management develops your knowledge and ability to successfully use the processes and tools as outlined in the PMI’s PMBOK® Guide.
The curriculum used in the CMD classroom has been developed by a PMP® and is in alignment with the latest edition of the PMBOK® Guide.
Each project management technical instructor is certified and are subject matter experts in their industry.
Adding a Master Certificate in Project Management to your resume represents your accomplishment of learning the tools and techniques that will elevate you in the ranks of project managers.
If your goal is to complete the PMP® certification process, CMD’s training can be used to fulfill the required 35 hours of project management education.
Substitutions are free and must be done prior to the start of the class or certificate program.
Cancellations or rescheduling must be received in writing and full refunds will be given up to four business days prior to the start of class.
Any cancellation or reschedule submitted with three or less business days notice is subject to a $35 charge on 1 or 2 day classes.
No refunds after the first day of the class or certificate program.
